Hedi Slimane Photography...

I think what's so captivating about these photos is the raw, organic androgeny and edgy, yet soft beauty of it's styling. It's hard not to look at these photos and see a connection between vulnerability and the freeing, inhabition of exposing yourself.

MARTIN MARGIELA’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION

I've been more than a little out of commission, blogging wise, since my last posts. I was working as an intern for a entertainment marketing management company called, Red Robot, which is why I created this blog in the first place. It was to serve as a trend forecasting referencing tool while I assisted in sourcing, wardrobing, and conceptualizing for a variety of film and print related projects. Since then, I had attended RMCAD with a major in Graphic Design. After the frustration I felt over the lack of "something special" within my program, I decided that instead of simply continuing on and getting it over with, I'd save some money and time and take a break from school to pursue somehting that I've ALWAYS felt "something special" for, fashion. I'm now working as a buyer, visual merchandiser, and trendspotter for the Buffalo Exchange in Denver. I've aquired a wide breath of knowledge about what it takes to be a successful buyer and stylist since being a part of such an ingenius business. We are constantly buying from the public, due to economic hardships, as well as selling. I'll go more in depth about my expreiences later. I'm impatient, I want to share some of my favorite fashion designers, concepts, styles, trends, pieces, etc....so without further ado, my little birdies:
